Mental fitness refers to the state of our mental health that enables us to handle stress, manage emotions, and maintain a balanced perspective. Positive Intelligence, a concept developed by Shirzad Chamine, is instrumental in this process. It focuses on improving mental resilience and effectiveness by reshaping our thought patterns. Central to Positive Intelligence are the notions of the Saboteur and the Sage. The Saboteur represents our negative self-talk and self-doubt, while the Sage embodies our inner wisdom and positive mindset. By understanding these concepts, leaders can better address their internal challenges and harness their strengths to lead more effectively. At the heart of Positive Intelligence are the concepts of the Saboteur and the Sage. The Saboteur, characterized by critical inner voices and negative self-beliefs, can undermine confidence and productivity.
