ADHD, or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, is a neurodevelopmental disorder that affects millions of teenagers worldwide. It is characterised by difficulties with attention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity, which can significantly impact various aspects of a teen's life. In fact, research suggests that around 5-7% of school-aged children and adolescents have ADHD, making it one of the most common mental health disorders in this age group. Teens with ADHD often struggle with academic performance, social interactions, and self-esteem, as they may find it challenging to stay focused, organise tasks, or manage their time effectively. These difficulties can lead to frustration, low self-confidence, and feelings of inadequacy, making it essential to provide targeted support and intervention tailored to their unique needs. ADHD coaching offers a specialised form of support and guidance designed to help teenagers with ADHD overcome challenges and reach their full potential.
